John Reese Doesn’t Put Up With The Kumbaya’ers

Two journalists attacked Internet Marketers and specifically John Reese for getting involved in Twitter and Web 2.0 in general. It is their belief that when IMers get involved in something they are going to ruin it because of (heaven forbid) commercialism.

SIDEBAR: For a long time, I thought Twitter was a stupid idea but after reading it praised by other IMers who I respect, I decided to check it out. I became hooked after about 10 minutes. My Twitter page his here ==> twitter.com/danfoleyusa

Well, those journalists ragged on the wrong guy and John went back at them. Read his GREAT post here ==> tinyurl.com/5qa9us.

One thing John is good at is articulating his passion for the Internet.

    Dear Dan,

You ARE a newbie on Twitter, aren’t you! I’m now following you and would appreciate the same.

Excellent rebuttal by John Reese. I’m really tired of Social Networking sites penalizing or banning IMers for conducting honest information sharing on the net.

John is a gentleman and he eventually calmed down, but he is RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT!

I don’t grumble about the people who use the net to talk about their non-commercial interests. If I don’t like what they say, or I’m not interested, I have a mouse and can click away. Too bad they don’t know how to do that, huh?

Some journalists don’t have any more lies to defend the rotten system they love so much so they will attack people who are actually being creative and productive. They can’t stand to see people demonstrating what little freedom they have to make a living.

    All the best!
